MAXXON Inflatable Pontoon Sets

Inflatable Pontoons are sold and priced in sets of 2 (a pair). Pontoons and rafts are made of heavy, commercial-duty coated polyester 1100 denier, 40 ounce fabric with an extra layer of fabric on top and bottom to resist wear. Seams are all welded-not glued. Easily repaired if damaged, with a repair kit and inflation foot pump included. The 10 feet and longer sizes have multiple air chambers for flotation security. The high quality Leafield C7 air fill valves can be locked open for easy deflation and compact storage. Replacement inflatable pontoons are available.

Instant Boat Tip
Each pontoon has several "D-rings" attached on both sides to attach to almost anything you want to float. For example, mount a pair of pontoons with rope or straps to a sheet of plywood (or to a larger platform of your design) and you have an instant boat or barge or floating work platform ! To mount the pontoons, drill 2 holes in a plywood sheet, or your platform floor, per pair of pontoon D-rings to align with each set D-rings below on the pontoon to be mounted. Drill the holes a distance apart equal to the width of the pontoon. Put a "boat cleat" between the 2 holes. Add one cleat for each rope if you want individual tie off points for your lashings. Tie a strong low-stretch rope (braided Dacron, Dyneema, etc.) to each D-ring using a "bowline" or similar knot. Then thread the other end of the rope up through the holes and tie off to the cleat mounted above. If using an engine to propel your boat, add some additional lashing lines mounted forward of your existing lashings to at least the front 2 sets of pontoon D-rings to create a 30 to 45 degree angle back to the D-rings on the pontoons. This setup prevents the pontoons from sliding backward against the increased drag caused by moving forward in the water under power. Add an outboard motor or air drive or sails for propulsion. Now you have an instant inflatable pontoon boat or barge that is stable, secure and can be assembled and disassembled quickly and easily !

Use our large or small inflatable pontoons to make barges, inflatable pontoon boats, catamaran or trimaran sailboats, house boats, airboats, fishing platforms, temporary boat dock, inflatable boat dock, floating work platforms, swim platforms, etc. Install them in tandem (end to end) to make longer, larger vessels of 40'+ long and 25'+ wide, or in parallel for heavier loads. Take care not to exceed 50% of the total load capacity of your pontoons to insure floatation security. All our pontoons have multiple air chambers per pontoon (except 9 foot model) for additional floatation security Only your imagination limits the many uses for these pontoons. STURDY, DURABLE CONSTRUCTION THROUGHOUT

Our XPT Pontoon Series is made of premium, commercial-grade 0.9 mm 1100 denier PVC that offers strength and protection against extreme abrasion and enhances chemical resistance. The inner layer is comprised of a 36-ounce, 77-pound-tear-strength polyester fabric that offers further dimensional stability and tensile strength. An additional outer layer of 1100 denier PVC is welded, not glued, to the top and bottom for even more wear resistance and strength.

Their multiple air chambers offer floatation security, while their high-quality air-fill valves can be locked open for easy deflation and compact storage.

Each pontoon offers several D-rings on each side to allow you to attach almost anything you want to float. Attach a sheet of plywood with some rope using a bowline knot! An instant boat. Use our inflatable pontoons to create barges, sailboats, fishing or swimming platforms, and more. The sea's the limit!

Each pontoon comes with an inflation foot pump and repair kit for emergencies.
